End User License Agreement

This agreement governs your use of the Sereno app. It is the agreement Apple requires us to have.

License Grant

BSBApps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Download and install the Sereno app on your personal Apple devices
  • Use the app for your personal, non-commercial stress management purposes
  • Access and use features available under your subscription tier (Free or Premium)

This license is personal to you. It does not transfer if you sell or give away your device.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Sereno app
  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the app
  • Distribute, sublicense, lease, or rent the app to third parties
  • Use the app for any commercial purpose without written permission
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright or proprietary notices
  • Attempt to circumvent any subscription or access controls
  • Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

Intellectual Property

The Sereno app, including all code, design, content, and the Aurora design system, is owned by BSBApps and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

  • All rights not explicitly granted in this agreement are reserved by BSBApps
  • The Sereno name, logo, and visual identity are trademarks of BSBApps
  • User-generated content (your stress scores, insights, reports) belongs to you and stays on your device

Health Disclaimer

Sereno is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

  • Stress scores are for personal awareness only
  • Sereno does not diagnose any medical condition
  • Sereno does not replace professional healthcare
  • Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns
  • Crisis resources in the app provide general information and hotline numbers, not professional counseling

By using Sereno, you acknowledge that you understand these limitations and agree not to rely on the app for medical decisions.

Subscription Terms

Sereno offers Free and Premium subscription tiers. All billing is handled by Apple through the App Store:

  • Premium Monthly: $6.99/month with 7-day free trial
  • Premium Yearly: $39.99/year with 7-day free trial (save 52%)
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by BSBApps

Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of Sereno.

Termination

This license is effective until terminated:

  • You may terminate at any time by deleting the Sereno app from your device
  • We may terminate if you violate any term of this agreement
  • Upon termination, your license to use the app ends immediately
  • Deleting the app removes all locally stored data (scores, insights, sleep sessions)
  • Active subscriptions must be cancelled through Apple to stop future charges

Disclaimer of Warranties

Sereno is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that stress scores will be accurate in all circumstances. Biometric data interpretation varies by individual.

Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BSBApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Sereno
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Sereno subscriptions in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • Nothing in this agreement limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud

Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Turkey.

If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
